At Fenway Park the Sterling Silver Sluggers outscored the dreadful Bristol
Blasters 5 to 2.
Bristol was unable to climb back into it after Sterling went ahead for good in
the top of the 3rd inning scoring a single run. Sterling had a total of 8
hits for the game.
Bobby Jones(9-8) got the win allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Butch Henry recorded
his 5th save. Sterling Hitchcock(2-13) was the loser. He allowed 5 runs and
7 hits in 6 and 2/3 innings.
