The St Paul Saints nipped the The Little Feat in 10 innings 4 to 3 at Wrigley
Field in a hard fought contest.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. St Paul came out on top in the 10th
inning. After an out was recorded, Sid Gordon drew a walk. Eddie Waitkus
was next and he laced a base-knock. Roy Smalley then ripped a single giving
St Paul the victory as 47,457 happy fans celebrated wildly. St Paul totaled
8 hits on the afternoon.
The victory went to Nels Potter(5-5) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs. Lou
