In a two run game the Denver Dingers got by the Cincinnati Royalty by the
score of 4 to 2.
Mamavila Osorio(2-1) earned the victory with a fine relief performance. He
surrendered only 1 hit and no walks in 2 innings improving his ERA from 4.76
to 4.05. Cincinnati threatened in the 9th but Denver was able to put down
the rally.
Dizzy Trout preserved the game for Osorio, recording his his 32nd save. Lefty
Smith(13-9) took the loss in relief. John O'Neal was in a sour mood after
the game. 'Even you guys up in the press box know why we lost this game. We
made too many mistakes.'
