Tal Strong took a no-hitter into the 6th inning at The Palace as the
Cincinatti Royalty beat the Sterling Silver Sluggers 3 to 0.

Strong(13-14) was virtually untouchable. He was stingy on the mound, allowing
just 1 hit and 1 walk in 9 innings. The right-handed Strong lost his chance
for a no-hitter when Hughie Critz doubled with nobody out in the 6th inning.
Cincinatti took care of Sterling with no trouble in the 9th.

Phil Cockrell(14-9) took the loss. He was the victim of a defensive lapse and
did not allow an earned run in the game.
