At Griffith Stadium Billy Loes(9-0) got the win and the Savannah Rumrunners
shutout the Galifrey Time Lords 2 to 0.
Savannah scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning. The big moment was
provided by Hank Aaron who thrilled the crowd when he blasted a two-run home
run. Loes got relief help from Tom Morgan who was excellent in relief and
gained credit for his 30th save.
Don Mossi(13-6) was hit with the loss. He gave up just 2 runs and 4 hits in 8
innings.
