Right fielder Perico Formental had 4 hits and 5 RBI as the The Little Feat
smashed the overmatched Minnesota Loons, 14 to 2.

Formental enjoyed a fine evening at the plate.  He lined a one-base hit
plating a run in the 1st inning, doubled scoring two baserunners in the 2nd
inning, delivered a single resulting in a run in the 3rd inning and ripped a
base-hit scoring a run in the 8th inning.  The Little lit up the scoreboard
in the 2nd inning which saw them score 4 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning
when they had 4 runs on 5 hits.  The Little had 22 hits for the game and
Minnesota had 11.  

The win was credited to Mickey Haefner(2-2) who went 7 and 1/3 innings
allowing 2 runs. Don Newcombe(13-11) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 12
hits and 2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
