Cornfield as the Iowa MoonlightGraham won in their last at-bat beating the
Gallifrey Time Lords by the count of 3 to 2.
The game was won by Iowa when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning. After an out was recorded, Charlie Jamieson delivered a single. One
out later, Waner stepped up to the plate and he ripped a base-knock. Rube
Bressler then laced a single making Iowa the victors to the delight of the
home town faithful. Iowa rapped out 10 hits for the afternoon.
The win was credited to Haines(11-16) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Cherry Bell(1-3) was tagged with the loss in relief.
