one-run game at Blaster Field. The final score was the sizzling Colorado
14ers 2, the Bristol Blasters 1.
The deciding run was scored by Colorado in the 9th. Billy Goodman drew a
walk. Hoot Evers came to the plate and laced a base-hit. Harry Walker then
grounded into a double play. Amado Ibanez came up and he doubled scoring the
run. Overall Colorado out-hit Bristol 9 to 4.
The win went to Dave Koslo(9-8) who allowed 1 run in 3 and 1/3 innings. Mel
Parnell(15-16) took the loss. He gave up 9 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings.
