Bob Skinner left the yard and had 2 RBI and Jack Fisher went the distance at
Fenway Park where the Minnesota Loons beat the Bristol Blasters by the score
of 8 to 3.

Bristol was unable to claim the lead after Minnesota went ahead in the top of
the 3rd inning when they tallied 2 runs on 2 hits. The big moment was
provided by Skinner who silenced the crowd when he popped a two-run clout
over the fence. Minnesota banged out 13 hits on the night.

The win was credited to Fisher(10-11) who went the whole way allowing 3 runs.
Jim Bunning(11-13) was the losing pitcher. He allowed Minnesota 8 runs in 6
innings of work.
