TEAM RISP- Bichipoos: 3 for 9 Red Pandas: 1 for 11
Catcher Sam Hairston had 2 base hits at Corruption Park where the Pittsburgh
Bichipoos beat the Providence Red Pandas in 11 innings by the score of 10 to
4.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. Pittsburgh came out on top in the 11th
inning. The biggest moment was provided by Ray Noble who helped quiet the
crowd when he doubled clearing all three ducks off the pond. Pittsburgh had
just 6 hits for the afternoon.
Al Benton(6-9) was the winner allowing 1 run in 3 innings. Jack Banta(6-10)
was the losing pitcher in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as he did not
allow an earned run in his 1 and 1/3 innings of work.
