The Sterling Silver Sluggers put 5 runs on the scoreboard in the 7th inning
and had an easy time of it at LA Wrigley Field defeating the Cincinatti
Royalty by a score of 8 to 3.

Sterling had 5 runs cross the plate in the 7th inning when they came up with 5
base hits.  The big moment was provided by Johnny Blanchard who came through
for the home fans when he rifled a three-run blast.  Sterling had 12 hits for
the game and Cincinatti had 8.  

Jim Brosnan(7-4) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no
runs. Ken Johnson(5-5) suffered the loss in relief.
