In a thriller the Denver Dingers staged a dramatic comeback then held on to
win over the Cincinatti Royalty by a score of 8 to 3 at The Palace.

An offensive explosion by Denver in the 9th inning ended any Cincinatti hopes
for a victory as they creamed Cincinatti blasting them with 7 runs on 7 hits.
Denver had 10 hits for the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Eddie Rommel(2-7) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning. Tal
Strong(10-12) took the loss. He allowed 5 hits and 3 walks in 8 and 1/3
innings.

'Wayne Stanko was estatic following the game, 'You love stealing one on the
road like this. We just kept plugging away until we pulled it out!'
