The Gallifrey Time Lords and the Cincinatti Royalty locked up in an exciting
one-run game at The Launch Palace. The final score was the Gallifrey Time
Lords 4, the Cincinatti Royalty 3.
Cincinatti was unable to climb back into it after Gallifrey went ahead for
good in the top of the 2nd inning scoring one runner on 2 base hits.
Cincinatti threatened in the 9th but Gallifrey was able to put down the
rally.
Ross Grimsley(7-11) allowed 2 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Enrique Romo preserved the game for Grimsley, recording his his 16th
save. Jackie Brown(5-11) suffered the loss. He was unable to control the
Gallifrey offense and allowed 8 hits and 4 walks in 5 innings.
'We just made a lot of mistakes, mostly mental,' John O'Neal said. 'It's bad
enough when the other team beats you, but when you start beating yourselves,
that's really bad.'
