WEB GEMS- Bot 9th: Valentin Dreke robbed Jim Bottomley of an extra base hit.

Yellowhorse Morris went the distance at Royal Oaks Ballpark as the Sterling
Silver Sluggers beat the Michigan Timbers by the count of 4 to 2.

Sterling did all of it's offensive work in the 5th inning scoring 4 runners on
2 hits. The Michigan batters didn't put up a fight in the bottom of the 9th.

The win was credited to Morris(7-5) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Clifford Carter(10-8) absorbed the loss. He was pinned with the loss despite
not allowing an earned run in his 4 and 2/3 innings of work.

'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Morris, 'I got burned on
a couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
