TEAM RISP- Royalty: 3 for 8 Silver Sluggers: 1 for 8
Left fielder Dante Bichette cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Cincinnati
Royalty came back to win one over Sterling Silver Sluggers, 8 to
2.
Cincinnati won the game with an offensive outburst in the 9th inning when they
exploded for 8 runs on 7 hits. The key at-bat was by Bichette who deflated
the mood of the partisan fans when he popped a two-run clout over the fence.
The game was a scoreless duel until the 8th inning.
Scott Sullivan(3-3) allowed 1 run in 1 inning, and picked up the victory. Mike
Timlin(5-5) took the loss in relief. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 1
inning of work.
'We just kept swinging the bats and didn't give up,' Bichette said. 'If you
just keep trying good things can happen!'
