Time Lords topped the Georgia Rumrunners by the slimmest of margins, 4 to
3.
Gene Tenace had a good day at the plate. He doubled which scored a run in the
3rd inning and launched a three-run homer in the 5th inning. Georgia had a
chance in the 9th but they came up short.
The win was credited to Randy Jones(9-7) who went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 3
runs. John Hiller got the save, his 9th. Jim Rooker(7-7) was the loser.
Despite the loss, he struckout 11 Galifrey batters in 8 innings.
