In a game for the baseball purist, Garland Buckeye(4-5) and Clarence
Mitchell(5-5) squared off in a tense pitching duel, Minnesota Loons finally
emerged victorious over Hibbing Dylans, 3 to 0.
Minnesota took the lead off Mitchell in the first inning plating one
baserunner. That scoring would be all that was needed. Minnesota had only 6
hits for the afternoon.
Buckeye got help from Sam Gibson who was credited with his 3rd save.
