One run was the difference at Lowell George Park as the The Little Feat
defeated the Colorado 14ers 6 to 5.
The Little jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning scoring one runner on 2
hits. Garry Maddox smacked a single. Maddox swiped second base. Larvell
Blanks then ripped a base-hit scoring the run. The Little rapped out 12 hits
for the night.
The winning pitcher was Jim Lonborg(5-4) who allowed 1 run in 6 innings. Kent
Tekulve recorded the save, his 21st. Mark Lemongello(6-6) was the loser. He
surrendered 5 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
The Little, who had been struggling lately, moved their record to 39-36. They
are now 2-8 in their last ten games. Not able to get much going in recent
weeks, Colorado is 0-10 of late and now has an overall record of 44-34.
