The Seattle Pilots edged the The Little Feat at Wriggly Field by the score of
4 to 3.

Seattle scored 3 runs in the 7th inning when they came up with 3 base hits.
Tony Perez led off and got things going when he tripled.  After an out was
recorded, Dave Rader stepped in and he stroked a base-hit driving in a run.
Gates Brown then blasted a two-run home run.  The Little tried unsuccessfully
to come back in the 9th.  

The winning pitcher was Mickey Lolich(13-5) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings.
Mike Marshall was credited with his 15th save.  Steve Rogers(6-6) was the
losing pitcher.
