At The Palace the Cincinnati Royalty easily handled the Bristol Blasters by
the score of 9 to 5.
In the bottom of the 7th inning Cincinnati scored 6 runs with the help of 6
hits. The highlight belonged to Jeff Bagwell who came through for the home
fans when he smashed a two-run homer. Cincinnati had 12 hits for the
afternoon.
Eddie Guardado(3-0) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Ugueth Urbina(1-2) suffered the loss in relief. Mo Vaughn smacked 2 homeruns
and had 5 RBI but his offense was not enough to carry Bristol to victory.
