Dave Rozema threw a 1 hit shutout and Larry Bowa had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the
Denver Dingers defeated the Gallifrey Time Lords by a score of 8 to 0 at Mile
High Ballpark.
Rozema(5-4) was simply too much for the Gallifrey batters. He allowed just 1
hit and 1 walk in 9 innings improving his ERA from 3.91 to 3.59. Denver had
14 hits for the night.
Jerry Augustine(4-7) ended up with the loss. He allowed 13 hits and 5 walks
in 6 and 1/3 innings. 'He was moving it around and spotting it very well.'
