Jeff Bagwell rocketed 2 homeruns as the Cincinnati Royalty bested the Bristol
Blasters 8 to 6 at The Palace.
Cincinnati tallied 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning. The key offensive
moment was provided by Travis Fryman who made the crowd happy when he smacked
a single which was good for two runs. Cincinnati dominated offensively as
they scored in 6 different innings.
The victory went to Kelvim Escobar(2-3) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs.
Escobar was helped out by Troy Percival who recorded his 8th save. Mark
Guthrie(2-2) ended up with the loss in relief. It was a tough loss for him
as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 1/3 innings of work.
