Hack Wilson had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the Mid-World Bumblers came back to
win one over Iowa MoonlightGraham, 5 to 4.
Mid-World erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
plating 3 runs utilizing 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Hod Ford
keyed the rally when he delivered a one-base hit. After another out,
Alejandro Oms stepped up to the plate and he laced a single. Wilson then
doubled, and an error was also committed, giving Mid-World the win much to
the delight of the home town crowd. Mid-World ended up with 12 hits for the
game while Iowa had 9.
The victory went to Lefty Stewart(3-5) who went 2 innings, allowing 3 runs.
Jesse Haines(7-12) suffered the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 hit and no
walks without retiring a batter.
