At Blaster Field the Colorado 14ers outdistanced the hopeless Bristol Blasters
by a final score of 7 to 3.
Bristol never recovered after Colorado took the lead in the 4th inning as they
scored 2 runs on 3 base hits. Colorado totaled 13 hits on the afternoon.
Sarge Connally(3-6) got credit for the victory, pitching 3 and 2/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Zip Campbell preserved the game for Connally, recording his
his 4th save. Webster McDonald(5-8) absorbed the loss. He got hammered,
allowing 9 hits and 4 walks in 6 innings.
