Third baseman Johnny Pesky had 3 base hits and 5 RBI as the The Little Feat
defeated the Providence Red Pandas by the score of 14 to 5 at Lowell George
Park.

Providence was unable to claim the lead after The Little went ahead in the
bottom of the 5th inning scoring 4 runners on 5 hits.  The Little bats were
hot in the 5th inning when they had 4 runs on 5 hits and the 7th inning which
saw them score 4 runs on 6 hits.  The Little ended up with 21 hits for the
game while Providence had 12.  

Preacher Roe(9-6) got the win allowing 4 runs in 8 innings. James Cohen(3-8)
was tagged with the loss.  He allowed 12 hits and 4 walks in 5 and 1/3
innings.
