First baseman Eddie Murray had 4 hits as the Bristol Blasters defeated the
Iowa MoonlightGraham by the score of 5 to 3 at Veterans Stadium.
Bristol brought 3 runs across the plate in the 3rd inning when they came up
with 3 base hits. That was all Rick Langford(4-7) needed. Bristol finished
with 9 hits in the victory.
Al Hrabosky gained credit for his 2nd save. The loss was charged to Jim
Palmer(12-8). He surrendered 9 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings.
'Thankfully we got ourselves a win', Langford said. 'It's great to be back on
the winning side of things.'
