The Sterling Silver Sluggers got by the Bristol Blasters at Fenway Park.  The
final score was 6 to 4.

Sterling won the game with a rally in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs.  Andy
Carey led off and he drew a walk.  After an out was recorded, Harmon
Killebrew stepped in and he drew a walk.  Wally Post then doubled bringing in
a run.  One out later, Harry Bright came up and he drew a walk to load the
bases.  Hank Aguirre then uncorked a wild one that found its way to the
backstop scoring the final run of the inning.  Jim Brosnan earned the save
with a perfect ninth, his 13th save.  

The winning pitcher was Ernie Broglio(7-3) who allowed 4 runs in 8 innings.
Ray Moore(3-2) suffered the loss in relief.  His ERA increased from 3.12 to
3.76 as he allowed 2 runs in 1/3 of an inning.  

With this win, Sterling has a 41-35 record.  They have been 7-3 lately.  Still
in a bad slump, with this loss, Bristol is 2-8 lately and 26-44, worst in the
league on the year.
