Couch.
Pittsburgh went ahead for good in the bottom of the 5th inning plating 2 runs
utilizing 3 base hits. Todd Greene initiated the scoring when he lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown'. After an out was recorded, Tim Wakefield came up and
he drew a walk. Rusty Greer then laced a base-knock. Aaron Ledesma followed
and he stroked a single scoring the final run of the inning. Pittsburgh had
9 hits for the game and The Little had 6.
Wakefield(1-7) got credit for the victory, pitching 5 innings and allowing 1
