Lefty Smith completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Cincinnati
Royalty outscored the Providence Red Pandas 4 to 3.

Cincinnati scored the deciding run in the 8th inning.  Bo Wallace drew a walk.
Smith followed and he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Luke Appling then doubled
scoring the run.  Cincinnati banged out 8 hits on the afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was Smith(8-3) who allowed 3 runs for the game. Jack
Banta(3-5) was the loser in relief.  He gave up 1 hit and 4 walks in 2
innings.
