First baseman Bob Boyd cracked a homer at The TARDIS as the Gallifrey Time
Lords won in their last at-bat beating the Sterling Silver Sluggers by the
count of 6 to 5.

The game was won by Gallifrey when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning.  Pee Wee Reese drew a walk.  Jesse Douglas followed and he banged out
a single.  Douglas took second on the throw.  After an out was recorded,
Eddie Lake then drew a walk to load the bases.  Wally Westlake was up next
and he hit a sacrifice fly giving Gallifrey the win as 46,612 happy fans
joyfully celebrated.  Gallifrey banged out 12 hits on the night.  

Bill Kennedy(3-2) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory. Bob
Romby(2-2) suffered the loss in relief.  He surrendered 2 runs and 3 hits in
1 and 2/3 innings.
