Al Bumbry had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Clay Carroll had an impressive outing
as the Gallifrey Time Lords defeated the hopeless Bristol Blasters by a score
of 6 to 3 at The TARDIS.
Gallifrey jumped out to the early lead in the first inning plating an isolated
run on 2 base hits. Carroll relieved and was untouched by Bristol as he
recorded the save, his 2nd.
The victory went to Jerry Augustine(5-10) who went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs.
J.R. Richard(9-12) absorbed the loss. He gave up 6 runs and 8 hits in 7
innings.
The win by Gallifrey is a very welcome one as they have been struggling in
recent days. Their record now stands at 46-51 - only 2-8 in their last ten
games. Bristol can't seem to snap out of their recent 'funk'. Now they have
a miserable 0-10 record over the last couple weeks.
