One run was the difference at Municipal Stadium as the Sugarland Skeeters
ended a long winless drought and defeated the The Little Feat 5 to 4.
Milt Pappas(5-6) delivered a fine performance for Sugarland. He went 7 and
1/3 innings surrendering 6 hits and 4 walks. The Little tried unsuccessfully
to come back in the 9th.
Terry Fox recorded his 13th save. Lew Burdette(8-7) was charged with the
loss. 'It felt really nice to get this win,' Pappas said. 'I kind of
dictated the game. It's what I get paid to do. It worked out this time.'
