The Savannah Rumrunners had very little trouble at The Rum Cellar downing the
Denver Dingers.  The score was 11 to 6.

In the 2nd inning Savannah scored 4 runs when they came up with 3 base hits.
The key offensive moment was provided by Dink Mothell who made the crowd
happy when he tripled plating two runs.  Savannah had 14 hits for the
afternoon while Denver had 9.  

The win went to Ted Trent(4-6) who allowed 5 runs in 6 innings. Roosevelt
Davis preserved the game for Trent, recording his his 1st save.  Willis
Hudlin(5-4) absorbed the loss.  He was not very effective, surrendering 6
runs in 5 innings.
