one-run game at The Carousel. The final score was the Tenth Avenue
Freezeouts 7, the Colorado 14ers 6 in 11 innings.
The score was knotted at 5 after nine innings. Tenth Avenue won the game in
the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Ferris Fain drew a walk. Bobby
Brown stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk. One out later, Dale
Mitchell then laced a base-knock making Tenth Avenue the winners and sending
the 43,126 fans home happy. Tenth Avenue managed 9 hits in their victory.
The win was credited to Warren Hacker(2-2) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Gerry Staley(5-6) suffered the loss in relief. He gave up 2 runs
