One run was the difference at Dodger Stadium as the New Jersey Jackals
defeated the The Little Feat 4 to 3.

New Jersey had 2 runs cross the plate in the 4th inning with the help of 3
hits. The big moment was provided by Jim Colborn who came through for the
home fans when he doubled bringing home two baserunners. The Little had a
chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Colborn(4-3) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. Colborn got relief
help from Tom House who gained credit for his 2nd save. Don Sutton(2-6) was
the losing pitcher.

The Little's manager was reflective after the loss, 'We should have won this
one, we just made one too many mistakes. Son-of-a-gun, that added a couple
more white hairs on this noggin of mine.'
