Providence Red Pandas 6 to 3.

Howie Pollet(5-6) gave a fine effort for Minnesota.  He went 7 innings and
surrended up 7 hits and 2 walks.  Minnesota totaled 9 hits on the afternoon.

Johnny Antonelli gained credit for his 2nd save.  Hank Borowy(7-5) suffered
the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 9 hits and 5 walks in 6 innings.  

The Minnesota ballclub's record now stands at 26-40.  Jimmy McDonald was
pretty down after the loss.  'We've really been sputtering along lately,
something like 1-9 in the last week or two.  That won't get it done.'
