Ted Lyons went 5 strong innings at The GAS where the Bumpass BS beat the
Gallifrey Time Lords in 10 innings by the score of 7 to 6.
Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings. Bumpass was
victorious in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Rev Cannady
doubled. Martin Dihigo followed and he delivered a single making Bumpass
victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Gallifrey was out-hit
by Bumpass, 15 hits to 9.
The victory was credited to Charles Craig(3-3) who went 1 inning, allowing no
runs. Ray Kolp(0-1) was the loser in relief. He pitched 1/3 of an inning
giving up 2 hits and no walks.
