Jim Perry allowed Galifrey's manager to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game at RI Field (The Bowl) as the Galifrey Time Lords beat the Bristol
Blasters 5 to 1.
Galifrey took the lead for good in the 2nd inning plating an isolated run
utilizing 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Don Baylor laced a single.
Bobby Mitchell stepped into the batter's box and he doubled scoring the run.
Galifrey finished with 11 hits in the victory.
The win was credited to Perry(4-7) who went the whole way allowing 1 run.
Jerry Reuss(6-8) was the loser. He surrendered 3 runs and 8 hits in 7
