Nomar Garciaparra hit 2 doubles and had 4 RBI as the Pinch Quicks topped the
Cincinnati Royalty by a score of 8 to 1 at Olympic Stadium.
Garciaparra enjoyed a big day at the plate. He singled in the 6th inning,
doubled which brought home a run in the 7th inning and doubled emptying the
bases in the 8th inning. Overall Pinch out-hit Cincinnati 12 to 6.
Wilson Alvarez(2-2) got the win allowing 1 run in 7 innings. Darryl Kile(4-9)
took the loss. The Pinch ballclub's record now stands at 34-36. With this
loss, Cincinnati has a 4-6 record of late, 28-43, worst in the division
overall.
