TEAM RISP- Stars: 0 for 4 Feat: 2 for 13
In a game for the baseball purist, Steve Rogers(6-5) and Nolan Ryan(4-8)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, The Little Feat finally emerged
victorious over struggling Las Vegas Stars, 3 to 1.
Las Vegas surrendered all of the runs The Little needed in the 5th inning when
they scored 3 runs on 2 hits. The key at-bat was by Enzo Hernandez who
elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he lined a one-base hit which was
good for two runs. Pedro Borbon pitched a perfect ninth and was credited
with his 16th save.
The Little now has a record of a division leading 41-33. Not able to get much
going in recent weeks, Las Vegas is 2-8 of late and now has an overall record
of 24-54, worst in the division.
