Steve Rogers(5-3), with relief help from Pedro Borbon, throttled Seattle while
the The Little Feat managed just one run in an evening game at Arlington
Stadium.
The Little won the game with a run in the bottom of the 8th inning. Willie
Stargell drew a walk. Richie Zisk stepped into the batter's box and he
ripped a base-knock. Jim Northrup then grounded into a double play. Rennie
Stennett came up and he slapped a one-base hit scoring the run. Seattle was
out-hit by The Little, 7 hits to 3.
Borbon preserved the game for Rogers, recording his his 12th save. Steve
Stone(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He allowed 1 run and 4 hits in
2 innings.
