Schoolboy Griffith had a strong outing and Ken Keltner slammed a homerun and
had 2 RBI as the Pinch Quicks defeated the Sterling Silver Sluggers by a
score of 5 to 1 at The Coal Bowl.

Pinch tallied 4 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning when they came up with 4
base hits.  The key at-bat was by Hank Bauer who electrified The Coal Bowl
when he ripped a base-hit plating two runs.  Pinch had 8 hits overall, while
Sterling had 4.
