Jake Miller delivered 3 solid innings at Silver Slapper Park where the The
Little Feat beat the Sterling Silver Sluggers 6 to 5.

The Little won the game with a run in the 9th inning.  After an out was
recorded, Earle Combs drew a walk.  After another out, Paul Waner came to bat
and was walked intentionally.  Dewey Creacy then lined a single scoring the
run.  For the game The Little out-hit Sterling 8 to 5.  

Miller(3-3) allowed no runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. Miller
got help from Art Mills who earned his 2nd save.  Sad Sam Jones(3-1) was
charged with the loss in relief.  

The The Little ballclub's record now stands at 22-30.  With this loss,
Sterling has a 6-4 record of late, 30-22 overall.
