Left fielder Oscar Gamble lofted one into the 'cheap seats' as the Zygton
Zabras defeated the The Little Feat 4 to 2 at Arlington Stadium.
In the top of the 6th inning Zygton scored 3 runs with the help of 4 hits.
After two were out Gamble started the attack as he smashed a solo-shot out of
the park. Rick Monday was next and he lined a single. Reggie Smith then
ripped a base-knock. Frank Robinson came up and he drew a walk to load the
bases. Ed Herrmann came up to bat and doubled with two more runners crossing
home. The Little threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Don Wilson(6-5) went 7 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Al Hrabosky got the
save, his 9th. Don Sutton(2-7) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 5 hits
and 3 walks in 6 innings.
'This was a tough loss,' said The Little's manager, 'the kind that sticks with
you for awhile.'
