In a two run game the Colorado 14ers got by the Denver Dingers by the score of

Colorado tallied 6 runs in the 5th inning. The highlight belonged to Jerry
Priddy who silenced the crowd when he lined a base-hit plating two runs. The
Denver batters went down meekly in the bottom of the 9th.
Andy Porter(3-4) was the winner allowing 6 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings. Porter
got help from Dave Koslo who was credited with his 4th save. Early Wynn(8-2)
was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7 runs
