Harry Heilmann had 3 base hits at Rolling Thunder Park as the Gallifrey Time
Lords came back dramatically to top the Hibbing Dylans by the score of 6 to
5.

Gallifrey erupted with the game winning runs in the top of the 9th inning
scoring 4 runners on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Clyde Beck who
silenced Rolling Thunder Park as he launched a Grand Slam homerun. Gallifrey
managed 10 hits in their victory.

Rube Walberg(2-6) went 8 innings allowing 4 runs for the victory. Wilbur
Pritchett preserved the game for Walberg, recording his his 3rd save. Bill
Sherdel(3-1) was hit with the loss. He pitched 8 innings giving up 7 hits
and 5 walks.

Lee Wilbur was all smiles after the game, 'To pull a game out in your last at
bats, is a beautiful feeling - and did you see how quiet it got out there?
You could have heard a pin drop when we took the lead. But, hey, that's what
makes baseball so great - as the great sage Yogi Berra says, 'it's not over
'til its over.'
