separated the combatants at game's end. The The Little Feat won by the
slimmest of margins, 9 to 8.
Despite a shaky outing, Monk Dubiel(2-3) got the win. He gave up 8 runs, 8
hits and 1 walk in 5 innings and served up 2 'big flies'. The Little
finished with 12 hits in the victory.
Dubiel got help from Tiny Bonham who was credited with his 1st save. Earnest
Long(3-4) was the losing pitcher. He was not very effective, surrendering 5
runs in 2 innings.
