Manny Ramirez went deep and had 3 RBI as the Gallifrey Time Lords topped the
Bristol Blasters by a score of 11 to 6 at Fenway Park.
Gallifrey came up with 4 runs in the 6th inning when they came up with 5 base
hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Ramirez who disappointed the
partisan crowd when he doubled scoring two baserunners. It was roller
coaster of a game as the lead change hands 5 times.
Mark Leiter(3-2) picked up the victory, allowing 6 runs in 5 innings. Mike
Fetters got the save, his 2nd. Jeff D'Amico(2-2) was hit with the loss. He
was knocked around pretty good, giving up 9 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.
