In a close game it was the Michigan Timbers 3, the Cincinatti Royalty 1 at
Royal Oaks Ballpark.
Wilcy Moore(3-1) won the game with a masterful relief performance. He did not
allow a baserunner in his 2 and 2/3 innings. Neither team managed to score
after the 3rd inning.
Moore got relief help from Harry Salmon who gained credit for his 2nd save.
Vic Aldridge(4-2) suffered the loss. He surrendered 8 hits and 1 walk in 8
innings.
