In an entertaining game at Bright Health Field the final score was the
Colorado 14ers 5, the Providence Red Pandas 2.

Colorado jumped on top to stay in the bottom of the 3rd inning scoring 2
runners on 2 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Gerry
Staley(3-4) and Colorado. That was all the run support Staley required.
Colorado managed 8 hits in their victory.

Dave Koslo gained credit for his 5th save. Harry Brecheen(4-3) was tagged
with the loss. He allowed 8 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings.

With this win, Colorado has a 19-24 record. They have been 6-4 lately. Jimmy
McDonald was unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep
losing games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
